~Yoga at Home~: Staying Calm & Finding Your Center

Updated: Dec 10, 2020

We have a choice.

Epidemics, like earthquakes, tornadoes and floods are part of the cycle of life on planet earth.

How will we respond?

With greed, hatred, fear and ignorance? This only brings more suffering.

Or with generosity, clarity, steadiness and love?

This is the time for love.

Trust your dignity and goodness.

Where others hoard...help

Where others deceive..stand up for truth

Where others are overwhelmed or uncaring, be kind and respectful.

This is the time for love.

~Excerpt by Jack Kornfield from the Bodhisattva Response to the Coronavirus

I needed a change of scenery and took my mat outside. I am getting a little better filming myself As I always say I am perfectly imperfect! I wanted to say thank you with a grateful heart for those of you who donated to FLAG (Front Line Appreciation Group). My friend Katie Darcy started this charitable organization in Summit to help support local restaurants and the ER and ICU healthcare professionals at Overlook Hospital. With the money we have raised so far we are able to feed a meal to 75 health care professionals at Overlook. It feels really good to help.

As long as we are at home I will continue to prepare weekly classes for you on You Tube. If you are enjoying them please consider making a donation to me via Venmo @Jenny-Hoffman-11 Half of the portion you send will be given to FLAG.
